I am the mother of three beautiful daughters that have blessed me with 11 grandchildren. I started my career in the banking industry as a teller and worked my way up the ladder to a Vice President. All of my daughters were born during my tenor at the bank and it was always a joke that almost every teller was on the pickup list at the daycare since I could never leave on time to pick them up. I later stepped away from the financial world and sought a more entrepreneurial lifestyle to give me the much-needed time to raise my girls.
In 2000, I was asked to join a mortgage company where I became a loan officer. It was during this time that I realized that I found my niche in life, other than being a mom this was the most rewarding job I had ever had. I am now in my 22nd year and still loving it.
While raising children and working I found time for a few other passions along the way, one was decorating and the second was anything that had to do with being outside. My biggest achievement in decorating presented itself to me about four years ago, when I was approached about remodeling an old building on the courthouse square. The building and I were featured in our hometown magazine titled, Labor of Love, A head for lending with a heart for design. While I could not be any prouder of the outcome, it was quite the undertaking so, I retired that hat.
So now, I look forward to living my best life moving forward still doing what I love, and embarking on a new chapter of working at Geneva Financial.
