Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team. The Mortgage Processor will be responsible for reviewing and verifying mortgage applications to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
Responsibilities:
– Review mortgage applications for accuracy and completeness
– Verify applicant information, including employment, income, credit, and assets
– Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and internal policies
– Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to gather necessary documentation
– Coordinate with escrow, title, and insurance agencies
– Assist in credit analysis and mortgage servicing processes
Qualifications:
– Knowledge of FNMA guidelines
– Experience in mortgage processing or related financial services field
– Familiarity with loan officer functions and underwriting processes
– Strong math skills for calculations and financial analysis
– Understanding of escrow and closing procedures
Geneva Financial, LLC is now hiring for an experienced Processor. There will be many opportunities for upward growth. Initial loan volume will be moderate to high (15+ files per month).
- Starting Pay: Base Salary + Per File Bonus
- Encompass Experience Required
- Process residential loans (FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Non-QM) to ensure compliance with company and investor standards and overlays.
- Need to process loans through Delegated and Non-Delegated channels.
- Examine all loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Review AUS findings and rerun as needed.
- Interact with loan originators.
- Contact borrowers to clear underwriting conditions.
- Must be pleasant to work with in stressful situations.
