What is portfolio lending?

Geneva Portfolio Division is just the tool you want in your loan officer toolbelt for those challenging and unique situations. We are mortgage people just like you who are making direct decisions on loans we want to fund and hold in our portfolio. We can be a bridge to help your borrower get from one place to another, operating in unique situations that Agency or FHA cannot.  With Geneva Financials’ Portfolio Lending division, you can start closing more loans and saving deals and relationships with your referral partners. By using our services, you are also creating refinance and new purchase opportunities because our loans are relatively short-term in nature and are designed to be refinanced by you when the borrower is ready.

What we DO NOT care about:

  • Seasoning of assets or properties
  • Non-Arm Length Transactions
  • Properties in need of repair
  • Income qualifications for business purpose loans
  • Owner builders and renovators if they are experienced
  • Perfect Credit

What we DO care about:

  • Helping Loan Officers and their referral partners platform
  • Closing loans fast
  • Character of our borrowers
  • LTV, We max at 65% with an exception to 70%
  • Ability to repay but we are flexible in how we determine that
